It would depend on the data connection.

If you are trying to query a SharePoint list/library with a date column, you may be able to create a compound REST query filter that does this. Check out the REST OData query filter syntax on the w3c.org site. One challenge may be the format of the date data types since the promoted format is different from the InfoPath stored format. .

If you are trying to query a database, you can't parameterize that query out of the box, so you'll need to write a Web service, or use an off-the-shelf generic one like Qdabra's DBXL which can definitely do a compound date filter.

Sorry I don't have a clear answer for you.

Date Range

Is there a way to query a data connection based on a date range?
