When you say "without having that field in the form?", do you mean that you do not want it displayed on the canvas such as a hidden field?, or you do not want the field on the main data source? If so then you could use a data connection which receives data from an XML document. Form there, you could have a field which will contain the To value for the email submit. Or why not use the drop-down field's value instead? If this approach doesn't work for you, kindly attach a sample of you form so I may have a better idea of what you are trying to achieve.

Regards,

Email Submittal - via field lookup

In my form I have a drop down box that selects a name of a building. When generating the email address I want it to use to submit the form I want it based on the building selected in the drop-down box. I have a listing of the emails in relation to the branch built in the access database the data is stored in.

So Question:

Form Selection is "Building B"

How do I get the email to populate in the To: category (via a lookup for lack of a better term) with the correct email address from the table in the access database without having that field in the form?

Building B = buildingb@name.com

Thank You!
