I'm an Infopath newbie :)

I am building a form that does multiple calculations, repeating fields and "cascading" data using data from XML and embedded form data (entered into the form button itself). I will be going to a SharePoint list system in future (long story).

I have a few questions.

Question 1.
I would like to update a set of fields when a drop down menu changes. When you select a Company, the contact person and details are populated into a field for each which is drawn from data in XML. I tried the cascading method but it's not really what I'm after but I am open to any suggestions!!!

My XML looks like this:

 JO BLOGGS
 65413215
 bill.zuber@blahh.com.au
 Sales

 JOHN DOE
 65488521
 bill.zuber@blahh.com.au
 Finance

Not sure if this is the right sort of format?? Should it be more like:

Question 2.
I have a repeating table that I want to count how many instances there are of it and multiply them by another field which is in the repeating table. In other words, I have an option for multiple training courses that each have a different number of days which I want to have displayed as the total number of days training - course 1 is 3 days, course 2 is 4 days so total days are 7.

Question 3.
I would like to keep quote numbers, so when I hit a "save" button it enters a new set of data in an xml file with a sequential quote number followed by some details entered into the form.

Apologies if this make no sense but that's as best as I can explain it!

Cheers
