Hi - this is what the query fields in the main data source are for - enter your employee number in the query field, run a query on your main data source, and the data for that employee should populate in the data fields. Here's an Office Online article that may help you - Lesson 6 on the page is about querying.

HI.

I have an access data base with three colums.

Employee number (Unique ID) | Name | Department

I can easy add new data to my access data base.

My request: In infopath when I enter Employee number i want the Name and Department to be autopopulated with information from corresponding fields in access.. Then I will be able to edit the name and department and click button to submit changes to database.

Any suggestions?
