I have a form template that I want to use for various sites within the same site collection.

Each site will have a form library and the template must have this local form library as its submit target. So, I have a data connection that points to this library.

I create a site template from this site. The problem is that when I use this site template to create a new site, the data connection still points to the original site.

My issue is not in moving the form from a development environment to a production environment.

These sites may be provisioned by users and I would like there to be no manual steps:

I do not want to have to manually change the data connection through the wizard.

Creating a server-relative UDC file also wont help since this central UDC file will not point to my new site

Any suggestions? Could web services or HTTP submits help me?

At this point, I am contemplating writing .NET code to unpackage the xsn and manually change the target of the data connection. I would really hate to do this though...
