I can connect to the service with the link as:</p><p><a href="https://server/infopathforms.svc?WSDL">https://server/infopathforms.svc?WSDL</a>, and the next screen shows all the web methods to choose. When I choose a web method from the list, I get an error:</p><p>&quot;Infopath has encountered an error. The operation failed. Type mismatch.&quot; and cannot go any further. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas?</p><p>&nbsp;Also, this is a web service hosted on another server in IIS and not in sharepoint mapped folders. Can I call this service through infopath wizard using soap?</p>
