It might be that the strange reference is getting added when saving to the SharePoint list. Here's what I suggest:

1. Do the steps you describe for day 1.

2. Open the form in Notepad and search its contents for xdado:OsoZ9.

3. Do the steps you describe for day 2.

4. Download the form from the ShP list and open it in Notepad. Search its contents for xdado:OsoZ9.

I know this won't solve the problem but at least it narrows down the source of the issue.

The form is bound to a database. We do the following:

on day 1 - Submit data to the bound database and a web service to pass data to another database

Days 2-29 add data to the form and save the form in a SharePoint list

on day 30 - Submit the new data back tothe bound database

Not sure if it is relevant, but the bound database has 4 linked tables.

Hi-

I guess my first question would be how are you submitting from InfoPath to SQL: Is it an Database-bound form, a form built with code, are you using a web service? The second suggestion would be to check whether it is happening for just the one form, or if it happens with a second/test form.

Hello

I use an InfoPath form to pass data to a SQL database. I submit the data, then some time after I use the form to submit additional data,updating the same record in SQL.

From time to time I find that some forms will not allow me to re-submit the data. When I look at the XML I find that this reference has appeared in the schema: "xdado:OsoZ9".

Can anyone tell me why this is appearing?
