My InfoPath 2007 client form uses a number of UDCX files stored in a site-relative data connection library. The form takes a while to open, so I used fiddler to inspect the process.

I've found that each UDCX file is requested and returns a 304 (not modified). It is then retrieved again, in spite of the not modified.

Can anyone advise whether the InfoPath client is capable of caching UDCX files? If not, is my only option to not use them (which will make moving from dev to production very difficult)?

Regards,
