Problem with connection file after conversion

I successfully converted a data connection file, but when I look at in the DCL Library, it is checked out. When i try to check it in, i get a message that I must fill out all required properties. The title property is blank, so I try to edit the title property but it remains blank and I can't check it in. I'm using MOSS 2007. How can I fix this problem? How come the original file does not have the Title property populated by the conversion process in InfoPath?
