That worked great. However, when i update the info in the database, it does not update the info displayed within the dropdown box on an existing form. I tried converting it to a text box, but I get the same results. I'm using infopath 2003, would it make a difference if I used the infopath 2007.

1. Go to the data source task pane and double click on drop down field.

2. Select Fx button for default value.

3. Select Insert field or group.

4. Select your secondary data source, and select value.

5. Preview the form.

Data Connection Drop down list box

I have a data connection where I recieve info in a drop-down list box. I would like the default selection of the list box to be the first option. Does anybody know how to do this?
