It could receive data both local databases, and other databases on the network as datasource. It gave me no problems at all.

But now, suddenly, it gives me an error straight away when opening or previewing the form. No matter which database I use, it gives me an error instantly. IP doesn't even hang or anything, it just tells me:

The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: LoadFilter
InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
InfoPath cannot connect to the data source.
Access is denied.
Access is denied.

I've tried the following:

- Create a new IP template with just a data connection (both local and elsewhere on the network). Result: same error.

- Create a new IP template using a webservice to do the querying for me: same error

- Reinstall / Repair IP: didn't help

- Try to connect to the databases by other means (SQL management studio and visual studio): went perfectly fine.

From this I can conclude that there's nothing wrong with my SQL servers, since I can query just fine by other means. It's just the InfoPath templates that won't work anymore.

I didn't change anything in the form, nor did my user/group rights change in the network.

The internet told me to put the form to full trust. I did this, and of course it fixed the problem. However, I don't want to put the form on Full Trust. Why should I? It didn't need this before, and I certainly don't want to mess with the certificate stuff.

Does anyone have a clue of what could be causing this? Please read the list of things I've tried before posting ideas.

Edit: Nevermind, the issue is solved, after 6 hours of meddling.

This topic (http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/5084.aspx) gave me the idea of checking my IE settings. And right I was: after changing the settings here, it worked again. I'm very dissapointed that InfoPath uses a part of the IE configuration though. I'm not even running my templates as webforms!
