We can add the user groups in InfoPath form. In that group list you have to add the users to open the form permissions. While opening the form you have to check the user role name is your group name or not. If login user is belongs to that group then from will open other wise you can give one message and close the form.

Setting permissions with InfoPath form connected to SQL Server

Hi There,

There's something I'm unsure about I hope someone can help

As the heading says I have an InfoPath form, the data connections are to a SQL Server database. I've set permissons on SQL Server mapped to Active Directory logins so people can access the data.

There are also InfoPath forms, developed by another person before me, they access the same data, however, permissons weren't visible from SQL Server, for example there didn't appear to be logins mapped to the database for the people to access the data. Even though it's the same data my forms are connected to.

I had to give permissions on the server for people to access data or submit data.

Is there something I'm missing? is there a way to give permissins other than from Management Studio in SQL Server? Is there a way to give permissions from InfoPath?

Thanks in advance for any help
