As Simple as this may sound, I am having trouble achieving this and was wondering if someone can help me out. It would be greatly appreciated.

I have a Database in MS SQL (My datasource) That I would like to query. My table has five columns, RequestID, RequestorName, RequestDate, Requestapproved, ApprovedDate. The first three columns are filled and the last two are empty.

What I would like to do is to design a query where I can search from the first column and pull up that record and then input the information for the last two columns and update the database with that.

Example: I query RequestID where RequestID = 1. It pulls up the information as RequestID=1 RequestorName: Ali RequestDate: Dec 1 2008. Then I update the fields Requestapproved: Yes and ApprovedDate: Today and then update that field in the database.

I am not a programmer and would like to do this using the features in Info Path 2003. If somebody can explain this clearly, It would be very Helpful.

Thank you and hope everyone is getting ready for the holidays!
