I would like have my users type in a Project Number and then send this value to a SQL Server DB to get existing project data that will then populate several read only fields on the form (for reference purposes). I have created a rule the runs a data connection which calls a View and then filter the results with the Project Number value that the user entered into a text box. This works but it is very slow (10-15 seconds). I'm thinking that I might be able to get better performance if I passed the project number parameter to a stored procedure, but I don't know how to create a Data Connection to stored procedure. It seems that I can only do this with a table or a view. What am I missing? Could someone please tell me if I'm on the right track and what I need to do or give me another option that will provide better peformance.

Thanks
