You can actually install a custom ActiveX control for viewing PDF files within your form. Go to custom controls and it should be in the list to add if you have adobe installed on the PC.

I believe then you could keep the link in your form and then have the pdf displayed from your SharePoint site.

You could use conditional formating on a section which contains it to have the show conditional.

Connecting Item to a picture (or actually, PDF file)

Hello all,

I have a though question.

If someone heard about it something like it or if he knows how to solve it, i will be more than gratefull :)

here it goes:

I have an InfoPath 2007 form.

On the left there suppose to be a picture (of a way to show PDF file) and on the right i have the customer details and the pictures (or pdf files) that connected to this customer.

near every PDF file there is a button called: SHOW

i am trying to find a way that when i press on the SHOW button, i will see the PDF file on the left.

i even thought about uploading the pictures (or PDFs) to a SharePoint Document Library and gives it a MetaData and then i can make a Data Connection to receive data from there but still, i need to find a way that when i press on the SHOW button, the picture on the left will show what i pressed on (again, picture of PDF).

Is there any way to do it in InfoPath?

Thanks in Advance.

Tal
