I'm using venali to serve submit forms to multiple locations and their server for some reason messes up the infopath formating. I have selected to only send the current form view [i.e. no data]. The colors, columns...etc all come out as code.

It looks like I have to go back to my fax server.

Is there any way to using a rule --> submit --> data connection and send this form view to my fax instead of an email address? [fax services 2003 small business server]. Can I trick this somehow with a faxto: command???

I was trying to write code with MailTO commands and I just assumed the rule submit would be the same as the default submit.

That worked, and I have a multi-drop form that submits to over 8 locations, and you just saved me.

The default submit can only have one data connection or routine associated with it. You need to have each of your buttons a rules button not submit. Then have one of the rules submit the proper connection.

You can use logic for the email. Typically you would have a field with the email the user chooses and the field value would be used instead of creating a seperate data connection submit for every possible email address. You can also concatenate addresses with a "; " between them to send to multiple ones.

Hope that helps.

Data connection only allows one email address at a time

Need some help.

I have a multi-page form that has about 15 views. I have some text fields that contain email addresses and I put a submit button right next to each of them. I have defined data connections for each of these submit buttons, but when I choose a data connection under the "button-submit-properties" it changes the data connection for every submit button on the form. There is also a radio button that is autoselected in the button-submit-properties dialog box that cannot be unchecked that states "email to a single address." I have tried changing security levels and it doesn't change anything.

Any ideas????
