If the connection is of submit type bind the secaondary dom fields while taking the connection.

Re: Pass user name and password for web service connection in the manifest.xsf

So you are connecting to a SQL database which contains user account information or some data tied to the username?

I am assuming you used the service account in your connection when designing your form? Does this work?

I have not used a service account but my assumption would be that it would encase the authentication into the data connection for the form and all users would use the SA as long is it was setup in designer.

Re: Pass user name and password for web service connection in the manifest.xsf

I have a service account...i need to use this account to connect with web service but i want to do it with out of box infopath functionalities

Re: Pass user name and password for web service connection in the manifest.xsf

So you have a web service which requires authentication?
