I did realize I could create an xml file from the database and then have the xml file populate the infopath form. Is there a way to go striaght from the database.

Thank you so much for the help.

Re: Repeating table with database

Hello pwave,
Welcome to Infopathdev Forums

You can do so by changing the binding in the repeating table properties
Double click on the Table to open properties
Click on Change Binding and select datasource in the next window and follow the instructions thereon.

Also see read this link<br /http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=2619

I hope this helps you.

Repeating table with database

I have a database(mdb) that populates the forms I have created. Some of the forms have repeating tables and I can't figure out how to populate a repeating table. So if I have a repeating table with 3 columns how do I setup the database and infopath to populate all of the columns and the rows.
Right now I can get the column data to pull from the database but when I add another row in the form it copies whatever is in the first row.
Thanks
