https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/44.aspx enCommunityServer 2007 SP3 (Build: 31118.962)https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/105039.aspxMon, 04 Jan 2016 16:20:03 GMT033a2e2d-04e2-4a9d-be01-a4634161eefd:105039Richtpt0https://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/thread/105039.aspxhttps://www.infopathdev.com:443/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=44&PostID=105039<p>InfoPath &amp; SharePoint 2013. <br /></p><p>I&#39;ve got a New Vendor Approval form that&#39;s tied to a SharePoint list.&nbsp; The user creates a new form and presses a submit button which creates a SP list entry, updates a column called &quot;Workflow Status&quot; with SUBMITTTED and sends an email to the approver.&nbsp; The approver can Approve or Reject the request.&nbsp; If they reject it, they enter a reason why and press a Reject button.&nbsp; This updates the Workflow Status column with REJECTED and updates the reason column with what they entered, and sends an email to the requestor.&nbsp; If they Approve it, they just press the Approved button which is supposed to update the Workflow Status column to APPROVED and sends an email to the data entry people.</p><p>The problem is when pressing the Approved button the form gives an error saying no data has changed so it can&#39;t update the SharePoint list.&nbsp; I&#39;m changing the Workflow Status by using an action on the form when they press the button, setting Workflow Status = &quot;APPROVED&quot;.&nbsp; So while it&#39;s true the user didn&#39;t update anything on the form, I have changed the value of the Workflow Status. &nbsp;</p><p>Any ideas how to fix this so the Approved button will work and the Workflow Status will be updated in the list?&nbsp; Thanks! <br /></p>
