Submitting updated items to a SharePoint list can be done with 2 different methods. The first method is CAML mapping. This is a much more complicated method if you are new to SharePoint. Here's a link to CAML: http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/27905/96881.aspx#96881

Hi ,I really need some help here, I am very much new to share point and info path 2010.We have a share point list with 4 columns(Level,Name,Emp_id,Domain) and i am trying to create something easy step to update the share point list so i thought of doing with info path with a submit button click which will update the share point list .with few reference with the web i was able to create form and i am able to receive the data into a form however i am not able to submit into a share point list. Most website reference is showing about submitting a form in share point library but i want to update the share point list with a click. please guide me the steps so with a button click my share point list should be updated. Appreciate your help,Many thanks N.Satish
