Multi Select List Field

Hi,

I have a cascading drop down list which populates a Multiple List check box and this works fine but if I change my selection in the drop list the multiple select list box retains some form of the previous choice. Is there a way to clear a multi-select list box when the user chooses a different drop down value. The "Set the Fields value" option to set it to blank doesn't seem to work like any other text field.
