thanks for this quick answer.

But now, I am facing a more diffcult issue, I am afraid. Let me describe more my need : this is an usual Product ordering context, with creation of an order related to many products.

There are many products a user can choose. Names and pictures of those products are stored in a list "Products", Orders in a "Orders" list.

In the order form, or even in a XML template part,

If I created a repeating section where I include the "ProductName" and "ProductPicture" fields inside, then I get all products displayed.

But I do not find how to add, closed to each product, an independant "check box" in order to replace usual check box from usual out-of-box multi-select list box, or even better, how to link the check box to the "ProdutName" to get the choice data it as soon as checked :-( Because the check box looks to have to be bound to a field from my product list.

Any idea ?

Many Thanks

Re: Multiselect list box with pictures

You could just convert it into a scrolling list and have a link to a thumbnail and some button to select them.

In other words, create your own section (or XML template part) that displays the images and a radio buttton or a regular button to toggle selection.

Definitely doable without code but you have to give up on the out-of-box multi-select list box and build your own using repeating section, scrolling, radio button, link, etc.

Multiselect list box with pictures

Hi,

I am using Infopath 2013 and Sharepoint 2013.

An usual multiselect list box shows check boxes and names, so users have to read the names to make their selection.

My issue : how to display pictures instead of names, then user will make his selection by looking at pictures instead of reading text ?

I have already tried to set "Display name" property to a picture field, but it displays URLs instead of related pictures :-(

Is it possible without coding ?

Thanks
