That is, if they choose Station, answer that, then choose Apparatus, the moment they change their Option, have a rule fire that clears whatever information they entered into the field for Station. Would that help?

Option Button that sends user to specific list box when chosen

Hello. I'm relatively new at InfoPath and I don't understand a lot of the terminology so please bear with me. I have a maintenance form whereas the firefighters will let us know if the stataion, apparatus or equipment needs repair and if so, what station, apparatus or piece of equipment is in need of repair. So they either choose the option of Station, Apparatus or Equipment (I have it set so they can only choose one). I have this working. Next, we want the firefighter, after he chooses one of the three maintenance issues, to choose what needs repairing. I have created list boxes under the option buttons like this:

Option Buttons - I have it so they cannot choose more than one of these three: Station Apparatus Equipment

I created a list box under each Option to correspond with the button above. List box - ST # List box - App ID's List box - Equip

I thought if they chose, for instance, Apparatus, they would go to the list box under apparatus and choose the apparatus needing maintenance. However, They are going to all three list boxes (station numbers, apparatus and equipment) and choosing one from each list, which is confusing maintenance. Is there a way to set up a rule on the list boxes that whatever option was chosen, they could only select from a certain list box? Also, is there a way to make the list box mandatory answer?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. :-)

Thank you
