Hi Patrick and thanks for your reply, Actionaly i'm not using any rule, i'm juste using a simple Mutliple LookUp Field in my sharepoint site and i'm puting it into an entendable table in infopath and i'm adding 3 new fields to the row with infoPath(values to be entred by user), but the problem is when i use the little blue icon with arrow to create a new row and i choose one value in my LookUp value all the rows will take this value, same thing for the others fields of my row As i said i'm not using any rule on my table Thanks again for your help

Hi Walspec,

How are you entering the value? If you are using a normal table, please check your Data->Show Fields has a repeating group tied to that table. A repeating group will have a blue icon on the group node. If that's correct maybe you are setting the value using a rule. If so, that sets all rows in the table. To get around that, you need to filter the set. You can use default values to do this. Double click on the target field in the Fields task pane and click on Fx and enter a field with a filter. You can also set it using a rule by manually editing the manifest.xsf file and adding square brackets with the index to the row, for example "my:row[my:index]\my:column1". To get at the manifest.xsf to modify the rule, click File->Publish. Go to Export Source Files. Close your InfoPAth Designer and open the manifest.xsf in notepad. Scroll down to the bottom and find the rule that is broke and manually modify it. Save and close. Now right click the manifest.xsf and choose Design and preview/save.

Hello, My problem is the following : My field have to be composed by : a drop down list of roles(a look up from roles list), a field where i can enter the number of persons needer and a field to enter their cost(money). this field can to be multiple entries( extendable table) but in infopath when a use the default extendable table to do this i have a problem, in runtime when i enter a value in a row all the rows will change and they will have the same value, so is there a way or another infopath component to do what i want to do? thanks for your help
