It's practically the same in 2010, except that instead of using the Text Box properties, you would open up the Manage Rules pane, and add a Validation rule. Everything from there should be pretty self explanatory if you have that webpage as a guide.

In InfoPath 2007 making a Conditional Required Field was relatively easy, but I can’t find the right way to do it in InfoPath 2010. What I need to do?I need to make the text box a required field is the user chooses TRUE.How can I do that in InfoPath 2010? Thanks in advanced.
