This is exactly what I needed. Editing XSL works very well for me. However, on the 2nd page - intersection of 1st column- 1st row, first cell is empty. Why does this occur? I have attached a screenshot

Any thoughts on how to resolve this issue??

Thanks so much for all your help.

I'll upload a 2003 one for you tomorrow. But it's not an ideal solution anyway - if you are comfortable editing xsl files you might find this post useful:

http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/p/19481/67530.aspx#67530

Re: Apply page breaks within Repeating table

Can you please post the formula for each section and also describe the layout you used? I was unable to open the file. I guess you're using higher version of Infopath. I'm using 2003.

The method would require you to specify how many rows before a page break by changing the 'MOD' value in the conditional formatting expression.

You could further fiddle this method to prevent the page break on the first row, but you would then not know how much of the page above the table is taken up with other content already, especially if expanding sections/fields have been used.

Plus the page break seems to occupy space itself, which inserts an unwanted initial vertical offset.

I think this has been tackled before by Matt Faus and it was a fairly complicated process - might be worth doing a search under his posts/blogs if you want to go through the rabbit hole.

Re: Apply page breaks within Repeating table

Thanks. Then conditional formatting would be to make it visible only for certain position #'s of the current row.

I'll see if that works and post back (feel free to try it yourself too ;-)

Apply page breaks within Repeating table

Hi,

I'm using repeating table within repeating section. How do I apply page breaks after certain number of rows so table headers appear on every page?

Is there a way to apply conditional formatting to apply page breaks after every 10 rows?

Thanks in advance,
