Repeating recursive section and sampledata.xml growing to large

I recently had to use a form that has a repeating recursive section. Whenever I save my xsn as source files the sampledata.xml gets bigger and bigger eventually growing to 33mb at which point I could not open my form. I had to manually modify the sampldata.xml to get my form back to functional again.

Now that I got it back I am seeing the same problem, whenver I make changes and save as source files the sampledata.xml starts growing and growing in size again. From the looks lof it the recursive section is making to many calls to itself in that file. Has anyone ever run into this as well? What info would I need to provide to get some help with this?
