Thank you so much for your help!! I did what you asked me to do in my form template. In the attached template, I was able to hide the dropdown listbox for all the questions other than 1, but I can't seem to hide the option buttons for question 1. I was able to disable the option buttons, but that's not what I wanted.

Could you please help?

Re: Different dropdown listbox choices for every column in a repeating table

Hi – the workaround mentioned in this blog post: Implementing Cascading Dropdowns in Forms Server might be able to help in your scenario. It also includes a ready-to-deploy form template as well as source code.

For your other question, it is indeed possible. In your example, add both the radio button and the dropdown list box in one column. Add a conditional formatting to your dropdown list box that hides it from all other rows except the second. For that, you'll use 'the expression: position != 2.

Hope that helps!

Different dropdown listbox choices for every column in a repeating table

Hello,

I have an InfoPath 2007 form template designed for taking a survey. This form has a repeating table, which has 9 columns as shown in the attached form template. Depending on the user's selection for "Site Req", Req Testing column is populated from an XML file. Possible choices for Site Re column vary depending upon the question. Therefore, I also store "Site Req" choices in the same XML, which feed values to a dropdown listbox for the Site Req column. I can show only relevant choices for each question using filters applied on the dropdown listbox, which was exactly what I was trying to do. But my problem is that filters are not supported in browser enabled templates. Could you please suggest me any alternatives?

Another question I have is that is it possible to have different controls for the same column in a repeating table? For example, Answer column should have a radio button for the first row and a dropdown listbox for the second row.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
