I am setting the field's value in the code, but i want to show a message box based on that field's value ( I saw that we can't show a message box in browser enabled forms using code) I have looked at the blog, it was really interesting but i have a question on this. Can i call the validating or changed event method also? If i am able to call the validating or changed event methods i should be able to stop executing the code after the rule finishes. If not possible can i write my own method which can get the current row's data based on checking the check box.

Thanks,

I have a requirement where i need to process rules after executing the code, which is related to a check box validating event. In general as per my experience i found that rules execute first and then the code. I have an event handler which is to be executed base on checking and unchecking the check box. If i check the check box the code is to be executed and at the end of the code i am assigning a value to a hidden field in the form, which is to be used later to the rules for this check box.
My problem here is if i set up any rule based on the hidden fields value which was assigned by the event handler code. So here if i check the check box already assigned value is checked with the given rules. But i want it to be done now, means first code should be executed and then the value in the hidden field should be checked with the new value. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
kalyan.
