Unfortunately it would have to be for entering information. Each repeating table would have 6 rows each. These would represent 6 stages of a project and each column would give the costs. As there are three parts to the project (Budgets, Projected and Day to Day costs) there would have to be three repeating tables. All with the ability to have data entered into them

This would mean when the Form is submitted to the database, it would in total be submitting 18 rows of info. I was thinking of using the analysis column to distinguish what section the row is in.

Hope that makes sense. I've tried all I can think of, If looks like I may have to just use the three database tables for this one.

Cheers.

Re: three different repeating tables for the same datasource table?

If it's only to display the data (and not to modify it), you should be able to use filtering on the repeating sections (see the sections' properties dialog) to accomplish this. Is that a viable option?

three different repeating tables for the same datasource table?

Hi Folks,

I'd like to ask for some help on what the heading implies.

In my database I have three tables, all to do with costs for a given project (Budget costs table, Projected costs table and Day to Day costs table). The tables have the same columns in each so I've decided to bring together to make one table and use an analysis column ID to distinguish which row is for what costs (Budget costs etc)

Here's my problem. I want to have three seperate repeating table on my InfoPath form that will identify each section (Project Costs ect) but all three are from the same table. I know by doing this, InfoPath thinks it's a duplicate.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have three InfoPath tables from the same data source table? Also, without having to code?

Any help is appreciated
