This link claims that there is full functionality in browser forms in Firefox 1.5 and above. However, there appear to be caveats:

It is possible for users to edit text in a rich text box in any supported browser, but formatting options are unavailable, including changing the text color and applying character formatting.

Re: Picture Control for browser enabled forms

Following is the error message I am getting when I try use Rich Text field in Firefox, works in IE. It only allows to input the field by removing all rich text formatting and editing the content of this control in plain text format

I encountered the same problem on the button image. I have visited the links provided at above and however the discussions provided on the above links are displaying image on repeating table.

I was trying to achieve to put an image on my form button only. How can i achieve it? Is it using the same logic as shown on this link :

Hi there,

I've tried this already. It only works if the URL is pointing at the exact image (that is .gif or .jpg) but when the URL is a parameterized ASP, it wont display it. Do you have any suggestion?

Many thanks.

Re: Picture Control for browser enabled forms

The best workaround is to use a read-only rich-text control. However, rich text fields do not support embedded images when your form is browser-enabled. Instread they support linked images that have to exist somewhere else. With this in mind, a possible way of enabling custom-uploaded pictures would be this:

- Introduce a file attachment control where the users will provide the picture
- On the server, save the picture to some location that is accessible by the browser
- Delete the file attachment field from the xml and insert the picture's url into the rich text field

Please be warned that this approach requires a significant amount of work and has multiple drawbacks (such as writing a lot of code and figuring out the storage model).

Picture Control for browser enabled forms

I have a infopath form that I want to be viewable from a web browser.
