Binding ActiveX control to secondary data source

Hello All,

Does anyone know if it is possible to develop an ActiveX control that can be bound to a secondary data source through InfoPath (I know how to get the control itself to retrieve data from a data source, but would like to implement the binding through InfoPath). I've already developed the ActiveX control, but can only bind it to the primary data source...
