I've tried that and no difference. It appears that a reboot of a PC resolves this issue so it boils down to cacheing however I've cleared the Infopath cache AND the IE cache. Same result - attachment control does not operate properly at all.

Again, I'm just trying to pinpoint where and why this might happen.

Best Regards

I've never heard of such a thing... I think I'd start by testing a brand new form. Just add an attachment control and publish to a test library. See what happens.

Infopath 2013 - SP2010 - Attachment Control has stopped working EXCEPT for user with full-admin rights

A very strange one. Only recently has the Attachment control stopped working in our Infopath 2010 forms. The forms are Infopath 2010 Filler forms. They are launched from a SP2010 Form Library. The forms open fine in the client Infopath 2013 application. Connections to data sources are fine. Our Security permissions in the forms remain unchanged. We religiously patch our servers ( the SP2010 host servers are Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard ) and I suspect this might be where the issue lies.

Of late, when a user clicks on the Attachment Control in the form nothing happens, even after hovering over the paperclip on the control and selecting "Attach" BUT if I log on with full-administrative rights, the Attachments button works OK.

Obviously it is a permission of some sort beyond Infopath and at Windows User level but I do not have a clue where to start looking. Any ideas ?

Thanks in Advance
