Goal: to get the file browser to open a specific Sharepoint folder (where the IP form runs starts and submits).

The Attach File Control generates a ChangingEvent, but that event cannot be used to inject a specific location or redirect to specific file location?

I realize this is rather dated as a topic, and I hope not to annoy (I am new to submitting to this forum; please instruct where I err protocol). Thank you.

But unfortunately the File Attachment control is not as well developed as it could be.

Re: File Attachment Default Path

Hi dlgross,

Its not possible to set a default path to File Attachment control. By default you can get the last opened folder while running the application.

After clicking the file attachment control give the sharepoint library name url in the file name text box in open dialog box. In the next time by default it will show that previously opened path only.

File Attachment Default Path

How can I set the path that is used by the File Attachment control?
