Hi Paul,

Instead of using OR you should use AND then it works as per your requirement.

I have a dropdown list containing Item 1, Item 2, Item 3 etc. The value is set as same. There is a default entry of all with a value of all.

I then have a section and on using the condtional format option, I have under If this condition is true:

dropdownlist is not equal to "Item 1" or
dropdownlist is not equal to "all"

then hide the control.

Hopefully you can see what I wish to do. It really seems quite simple to me, but alas it does not work. If I remove the second line "all" it works fine except nothing shows up under all, but the individual sections are displayed in relation to the dropdown list selection. If I remove the first line "Item 1" then it works. It seems that I cannot have a condtional or.

Can anyone tell me where I have gone wrong o how I get round this?
