The first would use a data filter to show only Cancelled = false events, and the second would show Cancelled = true events. To switch between cancelled/scheduled you could put a checkbox in the table, or you wanted to do it really slick you could add a custom button in the blue Widget menu that does this.

Check out this HowTo for the widget menu (you will have to use the context-sensitive extension):
<br /http://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=f02e8631f1c342df9c49fe8103e10215

Re: Cut reopeating section cannot paste back in

I have found that I can right click on a repeating section, cut it, then paste it back into the same repeating section. What I'm trying to do is to cut section out of a repeating section control and paste it into another repeating section control. I have identical sections for "Scheduled" activities and for "Cancelled" activities. When a scheduled activity is cancelled, rather than delete it from Scheduled and re-enter the data in Cancelled, I'd like to cut from one and paste into the other.

I suspect that since each section is made up of different data source fields, that mixing the two is (understandably) not permitted, but I was wondering if there was a way around it or to duplicate the action in some way.

Re: Cut reopeating section cannot paste back in

Hi JimDandy,

Assume u have multiple rows in ur repeating section.
U can cut a row and then paste it on to another row.
Like how u have an option to "Cut",U also have an option to paste.

And u have an option to disable/enable these commands.
Double click the Repeating Section. In the repeating Section properties Dialog box that opens, click the modify button.

In the section properties dialog that opens, click the "Customize commands" button. You can select a command and enable or disable it.

Regards,
Abhishek

Cut reopeating section cannot paste back in

If I have a repeating section, the control allows me to cut the section but there is no option to paste it back.
