Thanks a lot. There was an issue with the ordering of the rules.

I need your help in another issue:

I have a custom list in sharepoint with 2 columns, name and id.

Another task list with 3 columns, Title, Assigned to and id.

my requirement is such that, on the click of the value in the name column of the custom list, an item must be generated in task list with the id same as the one corresponding to the id of the name i clicked on. the remaining dtails can be edited by the user.

I got to know that JQuery and querystring could be used, but i am totally unaware.

Kindly help me

Thank you once again.

Re: Infopath 2007 not displaying default view to some users

Hi Vishy,

Your rules must have some condition problems or ordering issues.
Im new to infopath. Currently using infopath 2007. Im facing the following issue:

I have a sharepoint application which follows a hierarchy of user, reviewer n approver. Respective views are created for each , with user as the default view.

The user view allows us to select the reviewer n approver using a contact selector control. On click of submit button in the users view , a mail is triggered to reviewer who can open the reviewer view of the form. I am facing a problem when the reviewer(same user name) acts as the user. Instead of the users view, the reviewers view gets displayed . the same goes for the approver. In case the approver wants to initiate a process, he gets only the reviewers view instead of user view.

Kindly hep me to solve this issue.
