I have, as a total newbie and non-programmer and trying to learn InfoPath 2007, a question regarding the partial read-only setting within a view. I am aware that you can set a view to read-only under the View Properties but this applies it to all elements in the view. I have a form which contains text fields, rich test fields, date pickers and option buttons. I have also tried placing some of the form elements (controls) in Sections with the hope that the Section can be made read-only but with no success.

My only other option was to set each control as read-only but this seems only to be possible with text boxes. My question is, therefore, how can you set a part of a view to read only, or how do you set option buttons, dates and picture controls to read-only.

This form cannot be used with user-roles.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Julian
