I understand MS Excel well, (and now InfoPath form making!); some follow-up questions will help me with your questions:

You state:

"Are you pushing the infopath fields to sequel server?"

- How would this be accomplished in a non-enterprise, desktop computer-only environment? (e.g. Microsoft Access is only database tool)

- How would this be accomplished in an enterprise environment (e.g, using Syteline and Syteline modules for enterprise database support)

You state:

"You can link a Word doc to sequel and create a macro so everytime the specific word doc is open it pulls requested data"

- How does one go about linking a Word doc to a database app?

- How does one write a macro in Word? (I know how to do them in MS Excel; never have done that in MS Word; probably accomplished the same way)

Your answers will be tremendously helpful; this is a very important challenge to overcome for my team!

Thx

Report #1

Probably coming from an InfoPath "view", this would be a formatted view of the subset of information I want to share from the form, but needs to be in MS Word form; would I create a print view and just copy or export it to MS Word?

Report #2:

I want to link the data in containers in the InfoPath form to target sites (fields?) in an MS Word template. How do I accomplish this?

I am not a programmer, but have managed to get this great InfoPath form operational. I've read on this forum about the SDK kit that does something to help with InfoPath-to-Word translation issues. Is that needed here? If so, is there a guide to get through that. It sounds somewhat complicated and having to deal with registry, etc. Thx
