An active directory web service would be a simple solution such that once the authoriser is specified, then the relevant employeeID is set and has to match at the opening of the form to move over to the authorisers view.

This can be done without such a servce such that my originators specify the email address to mail the form on to the authoriser. When I open the form his email address (from AD) has to match to switch the view.

This is a good system I have use to great affect.

Then depending on this call the SwitchView method in order to switch to the users corresponding view. Another idea is to work with User Roles. Hope this helps.

Different view for different person

Hi,

I have an infopath form with 2 views which I publish it in Sharerepoint 2007. The first view can only be viewed and filled by user whereas the second view can only be viewed by approver after the form has been approved.

Is there any solution to do this?

Thanks.
