This way the project manager can only choose a date that has not been selected before. This will prevent duplicate transmition of data.

Project manager #1 chooses one of his projects and in the drop down there are dates that he has not entered data for. He chooses a date and enters data and submits, the data transmits to the database backend. The next time he uses the drop down box the above date is no longer there.
Project manager #2 chooses one of his projects and he can see all of his dates that needs data in the dropdown box. and so on...

can anyone help with this??

Re: drop down list filter

http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3181
<br /http://blogs.msdn.com/infopath/archive/2004/09/10/227972.aspx

Hope this helps.

drop down list filter

I built my Infopath form using a database connection.

One table has Dates(Oct06, Nov06, Dec06...)
Another table has Project status information.
