I am creating a form that utilizes a custom task pane as a help screen. The intention is for users to click ina field and the task pane will display inteructions of what to input. To do this, I used some code in jscript (I was familiar on how to do that with the 2007 version of infopath - I am now using 2010). After completing this form, it looks like users are not able to open the form. The error recieved is - "The form cannot be loaded because InfoPath .NET progamability support could not be installed automatically. . . . . ". My question is - is there a way around users having to install this.NET stuff? Possibly a different way to do the task pane? Our users are not the most tech savvy and can see this frustrating them on this new form (The old form is an Excel form). Let me know of any alternatives.

thanks,
