Basically, I used a Calculated Value control so I could use a formatting rule to hide or show this word based on the Check Box control value - hidden if value = TRUE. You will be able to find this rule if you click on the Manage Rules button under the Home tab. For the butterfly image, I used a Section control bound to a group - with the image inside this section. From there, I added a formatting rule that hides the section if the Check Box is ticked (hidden if value = FALSE). Hope this helps.

Change a word to a picture?

Hello lovely experts! I'm new to InfoPath, but I've successfully rolled out assessment forms to my company's SharePoint site for when we visit new clients of our care agency.

I now want to roll out our care plans in a similar way, and I've had an idea for something I want to do. Not sure if it's possible, but if it was it would be lovely!

Some of our clients have dementia, but have no insight into having dementia, and if they see the word "dementia" on their care plan, then it could potentially cause them upset.

Would there be any way for me to have a tick box with the word "dementia" next to it, and if the tick box is ticked, then the word changes to a little picture? Our staff would be aware that the picture of a butterfly meant dementia, but the client would not. It would be cool if the tick box hid itself too, so it all just looks like a picture.

I don't want the butterfly to be visible on care plans for people without dementia, to avoid confusion, or else I would just use it instead of the word. The idea is the butterfly is only ever seen when someone has dementia.

I am using 2013, if it helps. :-)

Thank you in advance for your consideration of this.
