If I attempt to modify the form and re-publish I get an error that the content type cannot be updated. My view only has the basic information in it.

My issue is that I now have to revise the form. I have learned much since I created it. I have created a new form with less fields and the performance is really fast now. My problem is that I need to convert the old forms into this new library. Normally I would export all the data into Excel then clean it up and import. I can't do that since my view only has limited data and I had not promoted all the fields (there were way to many).

Anyone have any suggestions as to how to move this data into a new library without re-typing all 800+ records?? The old form is HUGE and performs badly so I wouldnt want to add that content type to the new list... and they go into the old forms alot.
