Basically it is generating a project due date.

The form is a project request for a large uniform company we have several division school uniform and business uniform. so there are several views depending on what division is requesting they are ordering product and I am having the form automatically determining the due date. I only have a few fields populate access since that is where people try to track their time to do the project (so due date, task, person requesting) the other stuff doesn't need to be captured.

Hope this helps--I am sure I am making something that should be rather simple rather complex as that is my nature.

Thanks so much for your help!!!!!

Re: Error message when opening form

Are there rules on that due date field that fire when it changes?

Re: Error message when opening form

The only thing I can think of that I added recently is that there is a due date field which is today's date plus 1 could that be my problem there?

Re: Error message when opening form

Nope still too large :-(

Re: Error message when opening form

Thanks I tried attaching it said it was too big (oh my) there a a couple of views I am not currently using yet let me take those out and see if that works!

Re: Error message when opening form

Hi,

This error usually occurs if there are rules in a field that keep changing the value of itself, thus causing an infinite loop until it reaches the maximum limit. To prevent this, ensure that the rule action or event handler does not update the data which causes the same rule action or event handler to execute"

You click okay and the form opens and seems to work fine...I haven't change much just changed names on a drop down...How can I pinpoint where this is occurring so I can change it?

Thanks in advance for answering my questions--I have a talent for messing up the simplest thing.
