I was unable to reproduce the scenario using the form provided from the other thread, but please check this form I am attaching instead. Hope this helps.

Validate Multi-Selection Box

All,

From the following post - http://www.infopathdev.com/forums/t/14658.aspx I've been able to record multi selection values. I'm doing a quiz. How can I validate that the right options are selected.

i.e. If I have 5 values. 1,2,3,4,5

The correct answer is 3,4.

If I use the above 3;4 is different to 4;3. So that appears to cancel out the rule condition equal to.

I could use doesn't contain 1 or 2 or 5. Yet, selecting 3 on its own would be the wrong answer.

How can I write a rule condition to say must contain 2 values and those values are 3 and 4 in any order?

Yes, I could do a rule for equal to 3;4 and another rule to equal 4;3.

Yet this isn't practical for other questions where by I could have 10 values to choose from and 6 must be included to get the answer correct.

Or will I have to figure out every possible value combination and write a rule for each combination?

Thanks

W
