Yes, using a SharePoint list is the best option for you. Your form will have two submit data connections, one to a library and the other to a SharePoint List. You may use code for this approach, or you may want to try qRules's SubmitToSharePointList which will make it a lot easier for you. We also have a webinar which shows a CAML technique for submitting data to a SharePoint List. More information can be found on this thread.

Populate repeating table with data from repeating table in another form

Hi there.

I'm struggling with integrating two forms. The first form is filled out with data in a repeating table, and submitted to a form library on SharePoint, but without the repeating table data promoted to SharePoint fields.

The second form needs to read this data, and populate a repeating table with them.

I'm thinking a dataconnection to the lists webservice, and using code to fetch the data, but is there an easier way to go about this ? (I don't think I can get the owner of the source form to update it to promote the repeating data to SharePoint fields)

Thanks in advance,

M.
