St2 has serial number values auto filling into SN1,SN2,SN3...etc. fields. A user can choose to change the SN1,SN2...fields by using a checkbox and filling in a re-work SN1,SN2...etc. field. Basically like below:</p><p>Current&nbsp;Serial Number&nbsp;(field)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Check if Part&nbsp;Needs Re-Work&nbsp;(checkbox)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;New Serial Number&nbsp;(field)</p><p>&nbsp;This form works fine,&nbsp;but I come to a problem setting up my st3 form. St3&nbsp;has the same set-up as st2 above&nbsp;(current, check, new) but needs to fill in current serial number field&nbsp;based on whether a new serial number was entered or not.&nbsp;So if&nbsp;the check box&nbsp;= true&nbsp;and new serial number = is not blank then st3 current&nbsp;SN = st2 new serial number.&nbsp;If checkbox = false and new serial number =&nbsp;is blank then st3 current serial number = st2 current serial number. </p><p>&nbsp;I think the problem comes&nbsp;down to&nbsp;I have a&nbsp;default view and the st2 and st3 forms are views within&nbsp;a default view form connected to separate lists.&nbsp;I have my rules on the default view form controlled by a button when pressed and a check box that&nbsp;changes the view to st2 or st3 respectively. The problem I am seeing is I can set up rules&nbsp;(above) and get values okay, but when both rules&nbsp;are active, whichever is lower on the rules list&nbsp;takes over and fills in.
