Help writing an exprexssion that pulls data into a form from data entered in multiple and specific fields from a secondary data source list

Hello,

I am a novice to InfoPath 2010 and have been developing a form that populates data from a secondary data source, SharePoint list. Currently, I have set a rule on a repeated section that contains controls. The controls in the repeated section are named after the field columns in the SharePoint list. Each control in the repeated section has a field's value set in which the data for the field is populated based on the column data in the list when the ID for the list item is selected via a drop down outside the repeated section. The drop down control, outside the repeated section is the driver that triggers the repeated section. My question is, how do I create an expression/rule in which the data/controls in the repeated section are only populated from the when the user selects data in a drop down control and date picker control that match the data in the list? I appreciate your help in adavance.
