Secondary data source XML document showing older version of the fields

I have an InfoPath template (call it A) that has a separate InfoPath created document (call it B) as a secondary data source. While creating this project I modified the template for B to add an additional field to concat data already present on the form in order to better display the information on forms created from A. B’s template has been changed and I see the change reflected within form B, but when I attempted to create a new data source within A to point a drop down to the new field I only see the fields that were originally present within B.

It appears to me that there is something within the template that still remembers the old set of fields from B (as the old version of B at this point no longer exists anywhere on the network), but I cannot figure out where it is hiding and hope someone can point me in the correct direction.

Note that A has been worked on with both InfoPath 2007 and InfoPath 2010 at different sites, but it is set to be a 2007 filler compatible form.
